When you think of Italy, what comes to mind? Fashion, football, breathtaking cars, exquisite cuisine, and the prestige of Made in Italy! Latin blood inspires Italians in creating and pursuing dreams with extreme passion. But what does 'Made in Italy' really mean in detail?
When AWE23 returned after the COVID hiatus, Elica found us very enthusiastic because we Italians love good food and naturally place great value on kitchen space design. Elica represents the highest standard for home appliances in Italy. Since its foundation in 1970, Elica has drawn inspiration from Italian aesthetics to design its products, taking Italian minimalist style to its peak. The simplicity of the forms is meant to confer luxury on the materials themselves. Material luxury does not refer to traditional expensive luxury, but to the magnificence expressed by high-quality design and materials, thus embodying refined and delicate Italian lifestyle.
In designing the 350-square-meter booth, we at nesso.design responded to Elica's pursuit of minimalist style, creating a space with simple yet stylish design in the exhibition layout. Each product is displayed to be admired from every angle in the carefully designed space. Here, they are not just kitchen utensils but true artistic masterpieces offering a fusion of aesthetic and visual technology. Visitors can fully enjoy the perfect blend of design and technology. Elica continues to revolutionize the traditional concept of kitchen utensils, while Nesso continues to pursue innovative design, aiming to create an even more stunning presentation at the exhibition booth.
During discussions with Elica, we understood that air is a precious element, inspiring the creation of 'visionair', an interactive art installation. Inspired by Elica's advanced air flow technology, 'visionair' features over 80 LED tubes skillfully arranged to form the curve of the Elica logo, digitally controlled to simulate the suction of range hoods, creating a magical and ever-changing atmosphere of colors. This technological installation perfectly reflects Elica's idea of creating products that fulfill dreams, and it also pays tribute to our innovation and technological exploration of the brand.
At nesso.design, we believe that everything has an intrinsic connection and logic, so we focus on delving into the essence of the brands we collaborate with, aspiring to convey the true essence of these stories through our design language. We are delighted to play this 'connector' role with great enthusiasm.
