THE 4TH DIMENSION

Located in Shanghai, DG ART SPACE is a local attraction for art lovers and collectors, in 2022 DG have collaborated the Tang Contemporary Art and nesso.design have been commissioned to work on the launching event for their Space 4th Dimension.

Our team worked on the entrance signature wall which was inspired by DG art space own brand of textile, as well as developing all event graphics and rundown of the event.

Furthermore, to add another layer to the event, nesso interactive design department have worked on animating the musical event taking place on the back garden of the venue. Creating different atmospheres, inspired by patterns in the gallery, we used creating coding to animate this visual effect and making them responsive to music.

The second interactive booth take in account the artificial intelligence protocol of the NST (natural style transfer) to apply as a filter on a camera, in real time, the paint style of famous painters to get a portrait.

Moreover we were tasked to select a painting to cover a window near the red carpet, our team wanted to push the bounders of our design limitations, so we started experimenting with AI generative art, we were able to create a unique art work that matched perfectly the space.
